Storyline: Green Lantern: The Animated Series (20112013) Hal Jordan, a test pilot from planet Earth, is the first human being to join Green Lantern Corps, an extra galactic police force in order to keep peace and justice through the entire universe. Helped by the incredible Power Ring, the only one weapon provided by the Guardians of the Universe, an ancient and powerful extraterrestrial race and Green Lantern Corps' creators, Jordan and the Lanterns travel across planets and stars fighting evil wherever it's to protect all life-form. This animated programme that follows the adventures of popular DC Comics character Green Lantern features Earth's Green Lantern, Hal Jordan, and partner Kilowog as they find themselves alone on the edge of Guardian Frontier fighting off an invasion by the deadly Red Lantern Corps. The Red Lanterns, powered by pure rage, have sworn to destroy the Green Lantern Corps and everything it stands for. Hal, dispatched on an experimental spacecraft, is soon joined by a new group of heroes on a mission to protect Guardian Frontier - and the Green Lantern Corps itself.
