Storyline: Mystery at Haunted Cliff, 2020 is the first film of the progressive and eerie trilogy directed by Dean Podkrajac. Another two are The Dreamless, 2020. and Extraneus, 2021. Conceptually it is connected with The Dreamless, 2020 but not with Extraneus, 2021. In Mystery at Haunted Cliff, 2020 University professor John Newton specialised in old and unknown language got an opportunity to work again with famous prog-rock band Forrest. They called John to help them with the lyrics about the medieval age. His wife Elisabeth Newton is a psychology expert. They had a plan to visit Australia again after eight years during Elisabeth psychology conference. Due to John’s obligations about helping his old friends, Elisabeth went to Sydney alone. He asked her to visit their favourite places in Sydney and send him some photos and videos that he can see if anything has changed. She did exactly what he asked. On the 6th day, after John came to his hotel room, he got surprised after realizing the is no e-mail from his wife. Because of the early hours in Australia, he decides not to call her. Another day after the same thing happened again, John called wife’s hotel room, but nothing happened. Nobody answered. Soon after, he called hotel to see why his wife is not answering. They told him that his wife is out from hotel for two days. John immediately decides to fly to Sydney. When he arrived to the hotel, the personnel told him that they called the police and the fact that his wife is officially declared as a missing person. John nightmares started to roll. He went to the locations from the pictures and videos and potentially that she might visited. Miriam Mercury, famous former tennis player now a 77 years old lady saw Elisabeth near lighthouse and lady remember that Elisabeth was there for one second but in the next seems like she just disappeared. “It was strange how quickly she’s gone. Looked strange, you know, and it was something else, something i cannot explain, something scary. It was the eerie sound – like something coming from the sea. Never heard that sound before.
